EPA LEAD RENOVATION, REPAIR,
& PAINTING (RR&P) RULE

and under the teaser please add: EPA LEAD RENOVATION< REPAIR & PAINTING (RR &P) RULE (Federal EPA 40 CFR 745) requires for anyone that would disturb painted surfaces on pre-1978 structures (6 square feet interior, 20 square feet exterior, and any window replacement) The course is the EPA model course for Certified Renovators and as such meets all the requirements in EPA 40 CFR 745.90. Residential Contractors Licensing
Renewal Information, Renew NOW!

IMPORTANT NOTICE – RENEWAL INFORMATION:  The State Licensing Board for Residential and General Contractors has set the fees for the June 30, 2010 renewals as follows:

• Renewal Fee - $100.00 
• Late Renewal Fee - $200.00 (July 1, 2010 to December 31, 2010)

Please remember it is illegal to work as a Residential or General Contractor with an expired license.
Continuing education credits are not being required for this initial renewal.
Please ensure that we have your current email address on record so that you may receive your renewal notification.  If you are unable to receive email notifications, a renewal reminder postcard will be mailed out approximately 90 days prior to the expiration date of June 30, 2010. 

Renewals will be processed online.  If you do not have access for online processing, you must contact the Board office at 478-207-2440 to request a paper renewal form. 

You may renew your License Online at http://sos.georgia.gov/plb/contractors/default.htm

IMPORTANT: Please make sure that if you have had any change in your address since your initial application for licensure that you go to the Secretary of State’s website online and update your Contact Information, this is VERY important to ensure that the Renewal Reminder and Renewal License will go to the correct address!
